We strive to create accessible arts experiences and programs that serve the region, that celebrate opera and the arts as civic commons, and that nurture the present and future generations of arts lovers while embracing our role as a vital part of the cultural fabric of the San Francisco Bay Area. 

Our Community Programming

We are proud to offer a broad suite of free and low-cost programs for folks of all ages including lectures, workshops, family experiences, and more both inside the Opera House and out in our community.

Our Community Partners

We work and have worked with a number of local and regional organizations to expand our community's understanding of and access to opera. Over the years we have been honored to partner with the Marigold Project, LiveFreeUSA, the William James Association, and many more. We also continue to seek out new partnerships every year, aiming to work with a range of organizations that represent San Francisco's diverse population.
